Arrival in Kathmandu - Meals: Meals as per hotel plan Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet a Yatra representative and transfer to the hotel. Kathmandu – the capital of Nepal – experiences a mild humid subtropical climate, owing to its elevation of around 4600 feet above sea level. The city is a storehouse of architectural marvels, incredible museums, and revered temples and monasteries. Numerous festivals, showcasing the cultural heritage of the locals, are organised here. After reaching the hotel, check-in and enjoy an overnight stay.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Patan - Meals: Meals as per hotel plan Post a delicious breakfast at the hotel, set out on a sightseeing excursion of the city. Travel to the city of Patan for a marvellous exploration venture. Also known as Lalitpur or the city of beauty, it is a popular travel destination in the Kathmandu Valley. Various lavish temples and Buddhist monasteries adorn the city, drawing loads of art lovers here. It is also believed to be the oldest city in the region. Thereafter, travel to Swayambhunath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a well-known religious destination. The monkeys seen here are considered sacred, and this site is often termed as the Monkey Temple. This complex has many chaityas or meditation halls and temples, but the highlight of the site is a gilded spire, painted with the eyes of Lord Buddha. Later, travel to Pashupatinath and thereafter to Boudhanath. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal. As the name suggests, this temple is dedicated to Pashupati – a form of Lord Shiva – and is visited by hordes of devotees every year. Though the main temple can only be visited by Hindus, the surrounding buildings are open to all travellers. Located less than 5 km from the centre of Kathmandu city, is the Boudhanath stupa. It is an important centre of Tibetan Buddhism outside the Tibetan Plateau. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this site stands on a three-level platform, shaped like a mandala, which is a Buddhist religious symbol. After the tour, return to the hotel in Kathmandu and enjoy a rejuvenating sleep

Kathmandu to Dhulikhel - Meals: Meals as per hotel plan Relish a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and then start driving towards Dhulikhel. Offering stunning views of the mountain peaks of the Himalayas, Dhulikhel is a popular location for leisure travellers. A visit to this town presents a perfect opportunity to familiarise with the local traditions and culture. The town houses a number of temples that depict traditional Newari craftsmanship. On reaching Dhulikhel, spend the rest of the day at leisure and then transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Dhulikhel to Kathmandu | Departure from Kathmandu - Meals: Meals as per hotel plan After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and begin the drive to Kathmandu.
